Omarys Casado has joined Varma Education Group since 2022 and serves as our Regional Director of Admissions, Marketing and accounting. She is a proud Magna Cum Laude graduate of Kean University, holding a degree in Psychology with specializations in Speech-Language Pathology and English Writing. Ms. Casado completed extensive coursework in child development, covering topics such as infant and toddler development, early speech and language development, and special education for multicultural learners in diverse settings- coursework all centered on the growth and development of children. She gained hands-on experience through internships at Stepping Stones, working with children with Down syndrome, and at Children’s Specialized Hospital, supporting therapists in developmental assessments. Her passion lies in exploring diverse methods to serve children and families from all backgrounds.

Prior to her joining our team, Ms. Casado managed programs serving children from six weeks to thirteen years of age. Drawing on her research and training, she developed her own curriculum using different philosophies and remains a strong advocate for research-based education and instruction. She values well-balanced, evidence-based curricula, qualities she recognizes and supports in the Primrose approach.
